To use the service, just follow these instructions:
- Call the access number 0845 004 0880 from your BT landline
- Once connected to our system and you hear the announcement, please dial the full UK number. You cannot call other 0845 or 0870 numbers though.
- The line will then start ringing as normal, but you will only be paying to call a local rate 0845 number!
- To make even bigger savings with our service, make our number 0845 004 0880 your BT Bestfriend number and combine the savings with our service and a further 20% off for all your UK calls, as you will then make them all through our one number! BT Charge 7.95p per minute for peak time calls and only 3.95p per minute for peak-time local calls on their standard plan. BT Together customers pay 4p per minute for peak time calls and 3p per minute for peak time local calls. If you then make our access number your bestfriend number you can make all peak-time calls for as little as 2.4p per minute!
- Customers who have mobile tariffs that charge lower rates for local calls or 0845 numbers can also benefit from using this service.
